Stoughton Art Walk a success!
The Stoughton Art Walk was reported by most to be a successful event. Some artists and host businesses reported record earnings! I count myself among those happy with the crowd, both in quantity and quality, my venue, the organization and sales. I sold several pieces and won the Best in Show award. The crowds seemed to be art lovers and took the time to look at the work instead of blowing through on their way to the hot dog stand. The Stoughton Village Players Theater was an excellent host location and they were very helpful in ushering people in to view the artwork and check out the community theater. My hat's off to 14 South Artists for an incredible job of making everything happen. Especially Susan Liimatta who did the majority of the work with diligence and resourcefulness. She is also an award winning quilter whose work can be seen at www.susanliimatta.com.
Next up is Agora Art Fair in Fitchburg, WI on August 19th, 2017 where I'll be displaying my work in one of three 14 South Artists booths.
